“Stratis Introduces a New Product to the World of Corrugated Material Handling”
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Stratis has expanded its “Stratis Sleeve” product line to include 80” (200 cm) long sleeves (product number: FS200). The FS200 is used for stacking and storage of large corrugated sheets.
Stratis Sleeves allow plants to move beyond the limitations that are currently presenting problems to companies within the corrugated industry. The Stratis Sleeve is a one piece solid-wall molded LLDPE plastic device with an average lifespan of 10+ years. Fitting over the prongs of a forklift, the Stratis Sleeve eliminates product damage often caused by bare forks, greatly reducing waste.
The sleeves also act as stacking blocks creating and maximizing cost-efficient storage. This methodology is extremely valuable for storage of corrugated sheets between the corrugator and finishing. WIP and closed loop shipping no longer have to rely on a system based on slip-sheets or pallets with resulting increase of versatility in transport and storage.
